Temperature resistance excellent, design very poor. I've been using these gloves for 12 days. I carried out the welding process with the 7018 electrode in various positions. These gloves have been made from the ground up from soft leather that's easy to cut, with a few small holes burned into the material and the seams pop open with little effort. : The gloves' heat resistance, appearance, fit, comfort and overall "cool factor" are excellent. So the gloves' cost far outweighs their durability, Mechanix's Torch Lesage claims the glove is second to none - a blatant lie when it comes to build quality, heat resistance and the fit, which appears to be top-notch. [2021-05-24] Update: These gloves have deteriorated even more, I will throw them away. At the moment I want a full refund. I only used them for welding. I don't recommend this to anyone.
