Personally I have had issues with the clip "staying (temporarily) open!". This is useful when attaching or detaching from a belt; its angular position, held in place by a spring-loaded clip, also serves a useful purpose. However, the "firm open position" is achieved by a slight "tightness" between the top edge of the clip and a small piece of extruded plastic that aids in its hold, which quickly wears out and becomes unusable; not critical because the clip still opens/closes but I could do much better. and I added a small amount of epoxy if needed. Design considerations should always include "3-Fs"; (1) Fit, (2) Shape and (3) FUNCTIONALITY!
