For the price is an extremely good quality hat. Comfortable and rather light weight.Now I do have to admit that hats I buy at outdoor stores are slightly lighter but they also cost 2-4 times as much.This will be my yard hat and back-up hiking hat. But I am sure many will use this as their regular hiking hat which absolutely can be done. But with the incredible amount of hiking I do, I have extremely strict standards in this hot Arizona summer sun.This company has done a fantastic job. I highly recommend this hat.
