For a job I needed to do with some guitar pickups that were unsealed and gave a lot of feedback when turned on with overdrive I started looking online for some sort of pickup. an alternative to using standard wax and the like. I came across a YouTube video where a guy did some fill samples with different pickups on a guitar and he used varnish. Wax. and none at all. and you can hear the difference and the guy says in the comments that he is using diluted MOD POSH and the guy tells him. Finally. So I searched and came across Revain. So I ordered some and risked it. valla But of course I use it as it is. since this material will be diluted anyway. I stuck painter's tape between the coils and it completely cut off the unwanted feedback. I even told my guitar tech at Sam Ash about it and I really liked the idea because he uses regular wax and I told him to use a blow dryer to speed up the process if he wanted to get the job done faster. I told him it's non-toxic and doesn't even smell. I'm a lucky tourist.
