Bought this scale in 2017 for my wife and I to use occasionally or 'on demand'. We don't focus on health-focused people, but ordinary people who go to work every day, so this scale is more novel to us than what a health professional might consider. Everything worked fine at first, but after a few days the batteries died. They came with batteries for the scale. Put new batteries in and a few days later my wife tells me the scale isn't working again. So this time brand new, fresh lithium energizers. Then a few days and the scale won't work again. So 4 more Lithium and the same and as far as I remember I couldn't return or replace the scale. So I put 3 batteries in and told my wife if you want to look at the scale put the 4th battery in. When you're done, remove the battery. My wife stopped using it and it sits idle on the shelf. I found it again a few days ago and there were 3 batteries in it. I put the 4th, it worked for several days, but now it doesn't work. I've been looking for an answer to fix this but there isn't one. This scale is just an expensive shelf. As far as I know it's garbage.
