Review on Rain-X 5079279-1 Latitude Wiper Blade - 22" (Single Pack) by Mike Roberts

I have a 1998 Chevy Malibu and oddly it uses different sized blades. I bought these 22" and 20" wiper blades; 22 on the driver's side and 20 on the passenger's side. My old blades were about two years old at the time and badly needed replacing. They creaked and made a lot of noise so I finally got around to replacing them. I had little time to take the old one off; It had a clip and lock on the driver's side, which made it difficult to figure out how to remove it (I still have the car's owner's manual and it didn't help; it doesn't even list the size of the blades, I had Um look up the size There was no lock on the passenger side of the blade so it took even longer to realize I just had to move it.Once I took it off the new blades hit it squarely.No clips nothing I didn't even have to add any extra parts that come with the blade. Hook the blade hook mechanism onto the blade, place on the glass, done. I'm 6 months pregnant and in two seconds I'm putting on a new blade (after spending five minutes with the removing the old one.) I turned on the cleaning mechanism with both blades in place and they wipe the glass smoothly with no streaks or noise. If I have trouble using them in the rain I will definitely update my review. I noticed that these slats were a lot more curved than my old ones and they seem to hug the window a lot more. Also, the blade comes with a clear plastic overlay over the rubber, so be sure to remove it before putting the blade on (my son gave me the blade with the plastic overlay; he didn't realize it wasn't part of the blade) .
