Success or Failure - Aerators

It's hard to give these aerators a good or bad rating. They first come in a fancy box with a lid and foam padding, making me feel like I'm plucking chocolate out of a Godiva truffle box. It also serves the utilitarian purpose of easy storage to keep items from getting lost. Second, the pucks are really good. They are not symmetrical so be careful how you install them. The flat side fits the aerator very well, while the other side has a small lip that runs into the faucet. Third, there are small slots at the end that make it easy to put on and take off with a wrench. Fourth, the aerator is pretty shiny, so it's a bit noticeable (but not too bad) due to the brushed nickel hardware. Fifth and finally - unfortunately - the actual stream hits or misses. For comparison, I first exchanged the normal aerator, with which I was satisfied. The new canray aerator resulted in a slight diversion of flow and had little inflow. It was worse than the old aerator, which had a nice fat straight flow. I tried the application several times and always had the same result. But when I turned on the faucet that I was in dire need of a new aerator, the flow was very good with no issues. So maybe there is some interaction with the faucet or key to install the aerator that I'm missing. However, I now have to go with three stars until I find out that the new aerators are not the problem. I'll update my review when I find out what's going on.
