A good stick to take with you on hikes. Price and accessories are more than reasonable. It's not meant for serious survival, but it's way better than a bunch of cheap crap out there. I'm confident that all the accessories included in the kit will help me when I'm in a sticky situation, not just falling apart on real tests. I found its length to be about 6 inches too short for me. and I'm average height - 5ft 11in. No problem, I was able to find an extension for it on Revain that fitted exactly (be careful, there are others that don't). It's just that at 5ft 11in I didn't think I was going to get a pole short.
