Use this camera mainly for photographing star trails. Battery life decreases at low temperatures, which is undesirable when shooting star trails, requiring 2 to 4 hours of continuous shooting. Also, the shutter button doesn't seem to work when I plug an external battery into the small USB jack to extend battery life. In other words, the device cannot work and charge at the same time. So if the evening is warm, the running time can be 3.5-4 hours, but the evening is not warm, so the running time is in the range of 2-3 hours. Cool temperatures are in the 40s to 50s.
