Not the best choice for a hunter

To be honest I love him more than my cats. Thing is, they lost it within a month. For something so precious, it's a shame that it just disappears. My apartment also has wooden floors, but there are carpets under the tables. This leaves very little space for my cats to play. This mouse keeps getting caught on carpet edges and my cats lose interest in it. When this happened, I grabbed the mouse and moved it to a smooth surface, but it quickly stepped over another carpet and my cat kicked it, tossed it with its mouth, etc. My cats also played with the mouse sometimes and after a while they grab him by the tail and take him somewhere else to "finish" him like cats do when hunting. So they take the toy with them to the couch, carpet, or other surface where the mouse doesn't work, and since this mouse is made entirely of hard material except for the tail, they can't tear it or seriously bite it. , or keep chasing him and leave them without the opportunity they should have during the hunt. I'd say if you have a fairly large area with a smooth finish (my kitchen is fully tiled, as is my hallway, and they don't have enough room for gaming) and if you're willing to control gaming sessions, you should give it a try should, it can persuade your cat to get a little more of their daily exercise. If you have small areas or don't want to control it's not worth your money, you lose interest and it is lost very quickly if not controlled.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Insecure
