I use these clippers on the doodles and poodles. I can use them on the feet and on their faces. Not sure about the bodies, for heavy clipping. I guess you could, but I'm afraid the motor wouldn't hold up. One never knows unless you would try it. But for a good quickly clean up, they work find.

This is my third set of clippers for my dog that has very thick curly hair. She is a bordoodle. These clippers worked great! The charge held the entire time, they were very quiet, and it did not scare her, and they were very sharp! They were also very light weight in my hand, and it was great that it was cordless. Highly recommend.

We have a Miniature Schnauzer who needs once a month haircuts. For years we took her to a groomer -avg. price $70/ appointment. They did a great job, but it was a hassle making appointments and waiting to pick her up. These clippers make it so easy to trim her at home. She’s happier and we are too. In my dog's 12 years, I've gone through probably 3-4 Wahl clippers. My dog has a thick undercoat and her fur gets pretty long (she's a mutt). My pup had two insanely large mats that developed quickly with her long wavy fur. These mats were close to her skin so I knew I needed to be extra careful and patient while grooming her. With the help of her favorite treats and two short sessions of grooming, we were able to get the two nasty mats out with no pain!
