I Purchased this on the advice of a friend. I have a really long-haired furry cat. Her fur had started to knot up on her belly and around her legs.Honestly, while this clipper was quiet, it doesn't really matter in my opinion as no cat likes being shaved, ever. I had to give her something to make her extremely relaxed. Once that was accomplished the clippers did make the huge task much easier. I filled a whole garbage can with her fur because once I started I just kept going so she would be evened out all over. It was summer so I figured she'd be fine without all that extra hair.It's winter now and her hair has grown back thicker and longer than ever. She's still knot free but if she gets knotted up again I have these clippers to get her knot free.
