I have 2 Shih Tzu's who require regular grooming. I used to take them to the groomers every 6 weeks but I've got a mobility problem now and it's a struggle to get them into the car safely so I thought I'd try grooming them myself. I've used it 4 times and can say that it's pretty easy to use; it's the dogs that aren't so easy. The product is very quiet and I'm really happy about that. One of my dogs is so comfortable with the low sound that quickly falls asleep during grooming. Unfortunately he keeps laying down so it's tough to reach all of him, but he's standing for me better now. I'm sure he'll learn and get better. My older dog doesn't want to stand at all so he's still a challenge, but even so, I can reach about 70-75% of him and he looks much better. A grooming table would definitely help but I don't have room for one. But the clippers work great - cut well, easy to use and swap attachments, very quiet and don't heat up.
