The 3.5mm connector on the cable that plugs into the audio input jack on the iPad broke when my iPad fell on the floor, shaking the audio connection to my headset . He bent the connector end and rendered the cable unusable. It's my fault for dropping my iPad, but the thing is, the 3.5mm jack is weak. Not only did it bend, but the inside of the cut end got stuck in the iPad's audio jack and luckily could be removed with pliers. I also noticed that the plug to the headphones is not very tight, it pulls out easily. Overall the cable lasted about 7 months so I think I got a $1 a month ROI.
