Everything worked at first. Outstanding sound quality. The perfect replacement. However, after a few months, I lost sound in my right ear. When I wiggle the cable at the end that connects to the headphones, the sound crackles in my right ear. I don't hate these headphones. I use them lightly in my house. The original cable lasted 9 years. This replacement failed after just a few months. A complete waste of money. Avoid!

Perfect replacement for the original Bose audio cable that came with my headphones. Works like the original! UPDATE: I was wrong. Shortly after the end of the return period, the cable stopped working properly. You have to shake it constantly for it to work. I think it's obvious what you're looking for, but it may have a defect. It's cheap, it's not Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and it doesn't have the volume button that the original cable does. But let's face it, the original cable isn't very good either. It's cheap, poorly insulated, and prone to wear/breakage, and mine was after years of use. Time will tell how long it will last but I have full confidence that if I have any issues like this I will return it. At the moment this is working
