I bought this item for a vacation/Mrs. Klaus' pin up project and he ended up wearing it a few times over the Christmas period to go shopping or to work! With this purchase I knew I would have to tighten the belt an inch or two so I would say the size fits true. The material is light but very durable, like soft denim. It has no stretch at all. I had to pin the straps to my shoulders to keep them from falling off because getting dressed didn't stop it, it just pulled the skirt up too high. The skirt is already very short, so apart from the photo I'm wearing it with leggings and boots. In my opinion it looks best with a high neck blouse or turtleneck as the high waist and straps give the illusion of a short torso. Otherwise I felt cute in it and got a lot of compliments on my outfit!
