purchase not recommended. It has very poor reception, doesn't work in USB 3.0 mode and can't go over 100Mbps on a 300Mbps fiber connection when Bluetooth is not used. The chip inside is a Realtek RTL8822BU (USB ID 0bda:b82c), it works on Linux if you manually install one of the drivers available for it (or on Arch Linux the AUR has a DKMS module). But it's just as messy and a headache on Windows, but at least it works out of the box there. If for some reason you still want to buy this, make sure your USB port is facing outdoors as literally anything seriously degrades the signal quality, especially with Bluetooth. But seriously. DO NOT BUY THIS. If you can, get a PCI-E WiFi card with AX200 or something similar and I'm sure there are other WiFi + BT USB dongles that actually work fine.
