If you just bought this and you're thinking, why didn't I just use the plastic? The lack of BPA is important, but why buy a propellant that just makes little bubbles of foam? Well, I experimented for you, so here it is. I started with skim milk and a few scoops in half. There was nothing but a few blisters. I even tried running it a little more, but that didn't help. So I tried pure whole milk. Again nothing special. Then some whole milk with some half and half. It was finally what I expected, but since I drink two cups of coffee a day, I can't afford that much saturated fat every day. So this time I added chilled almond milk (Trader Joe's brand) to the minimum mark marked in the kettle, then added some skim milk and a spoonful or two of ready-to-eat. That was the magic formula. Now each cup is thick and full, almost like whipped cream. The coffee experience just went up a notch.
