The kit I ordered did not include a remote control, I don't think it was mentioned in the description of the candles I bought. But I deducted two stars because the large candle gives me problems after very limited use. Sometimes the yellow/white light from a candle just doesn't work anymore? The others were fine but I'm having trouble with this one. The batteries didn't need to be changed and I used them all night when the power went out. They are practical and make a bit of noise from the artificial flame, but if there is other background noise it will not be noticeable. I don't think a small faulty large candle is worth the hassle of returning it but overall I'm very happy with my purchase. A video is included so you can see the flame effect and blue candle issue I sometimes have.
