For reference, I am 5'6", around 110 lbs., 36A, size 5/7 jeans; I ordered a medium.Overall, the suit fit me well .THE TOP: I love the sports bra style top, especially the adjustable straps which allow for a customized fit. Ultimately, though, I didn't love that the added flowy section is actually connected (as opposed to being a separate, removable top).THE BOTTOMS: These also fit okay, although I never actually got into the water with them on - I sometimes have trouble finding bottoms that are both flattering on the bum and snug enough to stay up during an ambitious game of water volley w/o being too snug.Once I got it all on, though, I found that the deciding factor lie in the color/pattern. the wide horizontal stripes made me look disproportionately short.I gave it to my daughter to try on (who generally wears a size small in junior tops and a 0/1 in junior jeans) and, with all of the straps and strings tightened as far as they will go, it actually seems to fits her quite well so we will not be sending it back.As for me, I will be purchasing a similar suit that features a removable tank top.
