Bought these as a base layer for cold weather hikes, but this fabric actually pulls heat away from the skin so my feet actually get colder than without it. And there are no flies either - it was my fault. I think they are better for warmer months to wick sweat and cool the body, but for cold weather this is a big NO from me.
