The shoes are not heavy at all. I was surprised how easy it is. They're comfortable to wear everyday, but I wouldn't wear them for a walk. I wore them on a short walk in the woods and felt every little pebble and stick I stepped on. They do not support the ankle and are not durable. I would suggest wearing them as casual shoes or even water shoes. yes they are so thin
