I was tasked with finding a light blanket for my friend. He definitely meant lightweight: We live in Southeast Texas; It's incredibly hot and humid here. This is a five piece quilt. It provides just the right "extra layer" to keep you comfortable under a ceiling fan without getting hot at all. I bought the larger size because it was meant for the bed. I was initially suspicious of the fringes (fringes aren't always a useful thing), so I washed them twice at a time. There are no problems with the fringes, it washes very well. Washed 5 times with no damage. Definitely going to be a Christmas present for a lot of people on my list. I also ordered a throw size for the couch because I tend to get cold and love it. It's definitely lightweight, super soft and cozy. If you're familiar with muslin baby diapers, they're only about 4 layers thick if that makes sense. Highly recommended; the price is great too.
