It's good to install the O2 sensor, not remove it!
This socket is required to install an oxygen sensor and does the job. But I wouldn't recommend removing any of these (particularly the upstream sensor) with it, as the tight space combined with the offset of the applied torque relative to the axis of the sensor threads exacerbates the possibility of a stripped connector and very difficult removal. ... plus the need to cut a plug or even weld a new one into the catalytic converter. Instead, cut the wire at the top of the sensor and use a deep socket to remove it.
