I'm not sure.
This product is made in China. All the packaging is in Chinese and I have yet to figure out if I'm using it correctly or not. It lathers well when used with soap and I've used it with and without soap but I haven't noticed much peeling. It reminds me of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with a softer texture.
