Review on Camco (40055) Inline RV Water Pressure Regulator - Safeguards RV Plumbing & Hoses from High-Pressure City Water, Brass Construction, Lead-Free by Carl Durant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

To need. No luxury. Don't camp without one.

I've never had it. after my last 4 hoses swelled up like an anaconda that had just eaten a small child and then burst, and I rolled back to the camper van with a huge muddy puddle all around it, or worse, the kitchen sink faucet literally popping out of pressure ! Imagine (true story): You go to the beach during the day, return to your RV and find that a 160psi faucet has blown your kitchen faucet and it has been running for 5 hours. A waterfall comes out of your door. The membrane at the bottom of your RV is filled with water. you hate life You should have just used the slider. Just get one. Water pressure when camping is so unpredictable. Even the best campers are built like crap. Don't rip XLPE tubing because you're too cheap to buy a regulator.
