Had a chance to see other reviews of rods missing from the packaging. The two octopus kites don't need poles so they work fine. I received all the poles for the triangle kite but they are not long enough to support each side of the kite. Instead you need to connect two very thin poles for each side and center cross of the kite. After hitting the ground a few times the bars separate and the kite becomes a mess. Very poor design and construction of the triangular kite. I would skip this pack altogether and just buy Octopus kites which are great for beginners.
