A few DIY tips

Really better than OEM. Aisin is a supplier of Toyota. A few DIY tips in addition to good tutorials available online. I wouldn't do it without an impact wrench. I bought one for a project and I'm glad I did. That has helped me a number of times. Removing the engine pulley can be painful. At first the bolt was stuck, the impact wrench couldn't get it out, so I tried the starter kick trick of pressing the key against the frame of the car and giving a quick squeeze to the starter. I was still stuck so I moved the wrench back from the base a bit to allow the starter to crank it and that eventually loosened the bolt. Second, the pulley is still stuck. I ended up making a puller by drilling 3 holes in an aluminum plate. two outer bolts on the threaded part of the pulley. The middle one was threaded so I could drive the bolt into the shaft by removing the pulley. On these vehicles, part of the water pump flange is behind the back of the plate that the cover attaches to. To remove it, in addition to removing the nuts and bolts holding it in place, I had to use a vise to remove the two long pins sticking out of it. Then, in one fell swoop, remove the cam disc closest to you, preventing the wheel from turning with your hand. Remove as many of the back panel screws as possible to loosen the back panel enough that you can, with some skill, pry the water pump out from behind. Kick the cam wheel back into place with your foot pedal and again support it with your hand. This "loaded" spanner kit where you just have to pull out the pin is very good. Worth the extra money. Good luck, it's a bit difficult.
