it works very well. I'm not strong enough to squeeze certain parts of my own body to enjoy the massage. It really glides over your body and even if you push a little it can give you the massage pain you need. It's not too big to hold, I have small hands so I really liked it. This is great when you want to massage yourself but aren't getting the pressure you want, and it's great when other people can do the same. I bought one for me and my boyfriend and he loves them just as much. It's almost as smooth as if someone were massaging you with oil, no mess.
