Don't put your health at risk!

I change my hoses and filters more frequently than stated due to numerous issues over the life of this unit which I will not discuss here. When I changed the tube, I noticed dark debris inside the tube and decided to cut it open for inspection. I have no idea what's in the tube and my family and I swallow it for who knows how long. This is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I will never buy another APEC product again.
