Review on 🎮 500 GB PlayStation 3 Console by Eric Temple

This is not a review of my thoughts on the 500GB super slim PS3 console as a gaming device. This is a review of my recent purchase from Revain. I had a working version of this PS3 model for 6 1/2 years before it crashed. I really liked it and it's one of my favorite gaming consoles. So I tried to buy a used console after my original 500GB ultra slim console I bought in 2013 finally broke in late 2019. I decided to invest in a used PS3 Super Slim 500GB for a pretty low price. Bought from Revain, used: good condition. The delivery was very fast, even faster than expected. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the delivery. The inflated padding in the box deflated, leading me to believe the console had been pushed the whole time during shipping. The console came with all cables and controller in the original PS3 super slim box which was great. However, the console did NOT start. Is always. This console has the same problem as my old one. I plugged in the device and saw the expected red light on the power button indicating it had power. I then pressed the power button, the light turned green as it tried to boot up, then completely shut down within 1-2 seconds. Now there is no red light. The console is nothing more than an overpriced building block. According to others I spoke to, this issue is often related to the motherboard or the system power console. If the motherboard, repairs can be expensive. More than a used PS3. However, I am very upset that Revain sold me the advertised console in good condition and it never worked. Revain doesn't have people testing these devices? It even had a sticker on the side that said the hard drive had been reformatted and factory reset. As? It won't turn on! I started sending it back immediately. I bought from the Revain warehouse keeping in mind that they are more reliable than smaller game sellers who may have few or mixed reviews. Turns out I was wrong. If I could I would give no STARS because that is what this purchase deserves. A big, fat nothing, just like the "nothing" Revane sold me for $150.
