This screen protector does a great job of adding just enough texture and durability to greatly enhance the Apple Pencil writing experience. not as much as real paper, but just enough to give a much more natural feel and control over the pen. I see a few complaints about it being difficult to install, or even a few reviews stating you should only use this in a bathroom with a walk-in shower. I did this on my desktop in under 5 minutes with the materials provided and no prior experience. Just take your time and everything will be fine. A few blisters I had were easily removed with the included scraper. The screen's matte finish/anti-glare coating wasn't the main reason I bought the screen. However, I don't feel like it really impacted my screen experience. You shouldn't expect the look to be as sharp as stock glass, but the distortion is really minimal and I don't think about it. In my opinion and for my purposes, using it for notes and as an EFB is exactly what I was looking for. Compare it with other products. I will say I bought this after noticing a 'Paperlike' brand screen protector on a friend's ipad that he gave me to try. Aside from this product being a quarter the price the feel and look are almost identical and I would say based on my paper memories and being able to compare right now I would say this product offers a little more durability than paper which I find positive.
