Review on VIPERADE Versatile Interphone Adjustable Multi Functional Portable Audio & Video by Jasneet Jazzy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It fits in my BF-8FHP portable ham radio with 3800mAh extended capacity Li-ion battery like glove

I have a Viperade adjustable nylon handheld radio Bought to see if it would securely hold and protect one of my BaoFeng BF-8FHP radios when mounted and worn on my BOB's MOLLE ladder system. A high capacity 3800mah Li-Ion battery will be the radio's primary power source, but I have to use it occasionally with a shorter 2000mah OEM Li-Ion battery while the large battery pack runs from my power bank Solar charging system is charged. With the 3800mAh battery installed, the Viperade case fits my BF-8FHP perfectly. It was easy to adjust the width and depth with the velcro straps on this case and its height was perfect allowing me to seal it tightly against the radio with an elastic cable that fits both the switch and switch. The 16.5 inch Nagoya whip antenna I use without squeezing it or squeezing it in any way. The radio's PTT button and microphone/headphone or microphone/shoulder speaker jacks were not blocked or covered by this case. When I need to change frequencies, I can quickly and easily undo the buckle and the webbing that attaches the elastic cord and take the radio out of the pocket to access the radio keypad, put it in the pocket and the buckle again close, attach the radio securely without readjusting the rubber band. The front panel of the case, while covering my radio's speaker, does not noticeably block or muffle the sound of the radio. the cover plate covers the radio speaker, that's no problem. The Viperade Adjustable Handheld Radio Pouch is constructed from very strong nylon, strong Velcro and strong, durable elastic cords, and the high level of craftsmanship is evident in the precise cutting of the materials, stitching the panels together with straight stitches that double up in certain places for a heavier load or subject to wear and tear. The pouch attaches to a standard MOLLE webbing ladder using two strong Velcro straps at the top and bottom of the back of the pouch. If you prefer to carry the case on a standard duty belt, it has a wide belt loop that will fit the widest, thickest duty belt you can find. Either MOLLE or a belt loop hold this pouch very securely, allowing for quick and easy access to the radio. -8FHP radio. The pocket would allow me to adjust its height to still hold the radio securely inside. But all of the radio controls, with the exception of the power button and the mic/headphone or mic/shoulder speaker jacks, have been completely hidden by the case panels. I could safely carry my radio in my pocket, but I would have to take the radio out of my pocket completely to use it if a smaller 2000mAh OEM lithium-ion battery was installed. When considering how I will use my BF-8FHP radio during a natural or man-made disaster or in the case of SHTF, a negative factor is not the deciding factor to my knowledge. Worried, which is why I didn't deduct a star for it. Overall, I was impressed with the functionality and ease of use, the quality of materials and workmanship of the Viperade Nylon Adjustable Handheld Radio Viperade MOLLE Ladder or Duty Belt Carrying Case, and the affordable price compared to other competing products. This is a quick addendum to my review as I am "McGyvered" a very simple but effective fix to a drawback I had for the Viperade adjustable radio housing, which was that it lacked the control buttons and mic/headphones or the microphone/shoulder speaker fully covered input jacks when the BF-8FHP portable ham radio used a 2000mAh short OEM Li-ion battery. I measured the extra space occupied by a 3800mah Li-Ion battery extender compared to a smaller 2000mah OEM Li-Ion battery. Then I cut some packaging materials saved from previous shipments into a small block of closed cell polythene rigid foam sized for the extra space occupied by the extended battery. Whenever I need to use the smaller 2000mah OEM Li-Ion battery in my BF-8FHP radio while it's in my Viperade radio case, I simply place the closed cell foam block in the case, press to the bottom and then slip the BF-8FHP "short” radio over it and snap the elastic cord buckle. Now all the controls on the radio are open and easy to use, and I can easily plug and unplug the mic/headphones or mic/shoulder speaker into the jack. It looks like I have an oversized battery in my radio instead of the original smaller battery. Problem solved and the Viperade Adjustable MOLLE Radio Pouch easily earned the 5 star rating I originally gave it. If you have the same problem, I hope you read this and can solve your problem as easily as I solved it.
