Love it! Skin care is good for the face

I really didn't know what to expect from this. But I always want to try new products and it sounded pretty intriguing. I didn't really know what it would be like or how I would use it. I was even more unsure when I received it, but when I tried it for the first time I loved it and all the confusion was cleared! You can actually use this product in a variety of ways, and that's the beauty of it. It can be applied as easily as you like, but it can also cover quite well. It won't be a full coverage foundation. Of course, it's sold as a serum, so don't expect that. But I use it as a base. I have pretty good skin and don't have much to cover up. You can simply use this as a skincare/foundation layer under your regular foundation. You can wear it alone and layer it at will for the light to medium coverage you want. I apply it (always with my fingers, I've tried other methods but as it's a skin serum it didn't make much sense to me and I actually found fingers worked best) then apply a little more to my nose and chin on where I need more coverage. Then I apply concealer/corrector under my eyes. I could leave it if I wanted. Depending on the result you want to achieve and whether you need to use powder, you can do it. The finish itself is beautiful. Natural, slightly moist but not greasy at all. But I just can't stand not using powder, so I powder. It keeps my face looking good all day long. I don't have that makeup look that foundation can give sometimes. It's lighter, looks more natural. I bought the lightest color. The color of the base I buy depends on the brand. Some brands I want are the lightest, but mostly they're the second or third lightest. I'd say I'm fairly light and this lightest shade works great. I think this product suits a small range of tones and shades so choices are limited. You don't need an exact match. I suggest you go to the L'Oreal website to help yourself choose your order. If in doubt, you can get a better picture there.
