I once bought these chairs with a rail and then my cats decided they like to use them as scratching posts because of the material the seats are made of. These covers are perfect for my chairs. They are soft, very stretchy and have ties to keep the covers from riding up when you sit on them. My chairs have removable velcro straps on the bottom so I could easily hide the knotted straps. If you just want them to slide across your chairs, I'm sure you can easily tuck in or cut the straps. I hope my cats don't tear them too!
