Two things can be said about the build quality. First, the entire laptop is assembled with incredible care. It feels as firm as an apple product. In this area it costs money. Second, Dell seems to have pretty terrible quality control on these laptops. When things are going well with your laptop in production, you have a great laptop. But in my case it's a little different. You will not be charged upon arrival. If it happens to you too, it's easy to fix but still frustrating. IF YOUR LAPTOP IS NOT CHARGING UPON ARRIVAL It can only move a little. Now place the laptop face down on an anti-static surface and try to charge it while it's on. If it doesn't charge, try again. In addition to the battery issue, I also found that I had a dead pixel after two days. It's not a problem for me as it's just a tiny pixel on the entire QHD+ screen, but it could definitely be worse for other people. These ultra high HD screens are fairly new, so their production may not be very reliable yet. In terms of battery life, I think I get around 6-8 hours on Chrome, Netflix, and light stuff. I'll probably be at the lowest level doing Photoshop and stuff like that. It's okay, it didn't blow my mind, but it didn't excite me either. Performance-wise, it's the i7. It works like an i7 computer. An SSD is fast like an SSD. Nothing to add here. If you're looking for a small, portable laptop that can handle more demanding tasks than just surfing the web, then this is a good option. If you want a MacBook Air but don't like the fact that it's an Apple, get it. But please be aware of the possible detections that can come with it. When it works, it works very well. I deducted a star due to manufacturing errors.
