Pros:* Small* Works with both powered and unpowered (probably - I've read that mostly, not tested unpowered myself )* It's nice that it uses micro USB for power supply and its power bank can be used as a USB charger. Cons:* Sometimes doesn't work on my MBP. Just recently I was going insane trying to figure out why he can't see the hub. I've rebooted to no avail. Turns out I had to "reboot" the hub by unplugging the power and USB and plugging them both back in. I actually bought it to replace my Revain Basics USB 3 hub which seemed to be having the same weird issues. Unfortunately, this hub seems to have its own weird problems. UPDATE February 2017: I think some of my issues from my original review might be due to a faulty hub. The USB 3 portion of this hub stopped working in January 2017. I requested a replacement from Anker which I was happy to deal with. They sent me a new hub for free under warranty (and I didn't have to send the old broken one back). The new hub seems to be consistently recognized by my MBP so far. It's a question of who is to blame for any remaining USB 3 issues I'm having, the MBP/OS X or the hub itself. Thanks to Anker Support. Thanks to their support I have upgraded this rating from 4 to 5 stars.
