I am very impressed with the solidity of this cabinet considering that it costs less than $120. There are definitely a few dings and dings here and there, but you really have to be careful to spot them. I'll probably upgrade the handles one day as the ones that come with the kit are just painted cheap pieces of wood. We bought this cabinet to hide our cable box/router/modem so I ended up drilling a few holes in the back for wires. Piece of IKEA furniture, I think you can handle it. The shelf in the closed part can be adjusted to different heights as required. I have it pictured at the highest level. The bottom shelf on the open side is also adjustable (the middle installation in the photo), but the top shelf is fixed. Overall definitely worth the price.
