I started using ViewSonic monitors a few years ago when I needed a more accurate color comparison to check packaging material. I would use the monitor as an inspection reference and compare the picture to the physical part. I've also used it to view images sent in by vendors for visual color comparisons. Now I also use them for my personal monitors as they hold up well and have great colors when viewing photos and videos. I highly recommend that you consider this level of color accuracy because it matters. It's more or less an entry-level monitor with accurate colors, but if that's important to you, it's a great monitor at a great price.
