I was very pleasantly surprised by these pillowcases. They are very cheap ($8.09 for 2 at the time of this review) and I figured that meant they wouldn't be of good quality. I'm happy to report that I was wrong! They're not super thick satin and they're not too big, but they're thick enough to fit nicely on my standard pillow. The embossing is almost invisible in photos, but if it were more pronounced it would leave marks on your face, which is the opposite of what satin pillowcases are supposed to do. I washed mine in warm water (thrown colored sheets right away) and tumble dried on medium speed. It came out great! I used it for the first time last night and this morning my curls are intact and I have no wrinkles on my face. I can't say anything about the durability yet, but so far I highly recommend it!
