I have tested several of these antennas including other brands and they all work the same. They all fail compared to the standard Baofeng whip antenna. Not even close. I tested 5 different sheet antennas from 3 different manufacturers on 5 different Baofeng. All of them are useless and perform significantly worse than the standard Baofeng whip. It's like the impedance is off on all of them, or the connector's wiring is reversed (ground and wire swapped), even though the connector is right for Baofeng. I just don't understand why they don't work well. Should they, because they are huge, but in the parallel test they can not reach the Baofeng whip. However, they work very well on radios from other brands, such as the Yaesu ft65. Very strange.
