I chose this as an introduction to the ABC clock to see if I really big bucks want higher dollar versions. So far it's worked damn well. As mentioned in many other reviews the compass is usually off 4-10 degrees which is not bad for the price I paid. I never intended to use this for navigation (I'll stick with a real magnetic compass and map). I had the opportunity to calibrate the barometer and altimeter at an official weather station and compare them to several other readings before taking them out on the trail. So far my watch is showing within 5 feet above sea level. Overall not bad for the price but if you really want a real ABC watch check out some of the more well known products.
