First of all I would like to emphasize that this universal light bar for your license plate is very light. Now he has very good welds, very nice and smooth coloring. If you have a car that needs a light bar or running lights and want an easy mount to install at a very affordable price then this is for you. I would recommend this for a car or small SUV, it seems very durable but then again it weighs a pound if anything. For a truck I wouldn't recommend it, it doesn't protect your front end from a direct hit maybe if you hit it. It's great for mounting any type of lights, especially if you have a car that doesn't have room to put lights or a bracket, it's a great option and you don't have to drill holes in the bumper. This screws the rights into your existing license plate holder. Again, I would recommend for a car or anyone who wants something simple with no drilling holes, takes less than 2 minutes to install. For a full size truck I'd say no it's too small but for $25 and you want something simple then yes give it a try.
