I bought it for myself 2 months after buying the camera. As a beginner who has previously shot only with ultrasonics and soap dishes, I will say that the lens is magnificent! In skillful hands, you can get great shots, and a beginner will be able to learn well from it, and, perhaps, even continue to shoot with it, if there is no urgent desire to get an even faster fix.)
