I am very satisfied with this litter box. I have a large cat that weighs 16 kg. He is neutered but has a bad habit of not squatting down all the time until he urinates. Otherwise it is very well maintained and clean. Buying a giant 12-inch litter box still hasn't completely solved his spill problem. I'm in an apartment with limited space to set up an unsightly tray, but having to keep up with his splashing accidents has been overwhelming. I've looked at dozens of these devices and none were large enough for a large cat with a giant litter box. It was too good to be true. I also know cats don't want to be closed so it needs to be spacious and big enough for a big boy. It has good ventilation all around and a good height. I put everything together myself with no problems, but if this is your first time doing something like this you might need some help as some of the images can be confusing if you've never put anything together before. I found it easy enough. I used a drill rather than a screwdriver for some of the holes, but only because it was too painful to do all that manual twisting. But I give it a solid high five for the ease of assembly. This item is beautiful and durable! And that although it is very easy to care for and contains all the stuff inside. It opens from the top and from the side. I want to keep mine for as long as possible so I lined the inside with PVC and vinyl contact paper and tucked folded puppy pads into the inside corners just because my boy is dirty. But now it only takes me 3-5 quick minutes every morning to clean everything up and there are no more smells in the room. My cat had no problem with it. I made him crawl while I picked him up so he was curious. When he first used it internally, he had tentative but immediate success. I give this 5 stars.
