If you know it's the specific part you need for your DS4 then it 100% works. Zero issues on my part, it's pretty easy to install. The positioning is awkward at first, but keep fiddling with it until it's exactly the same as the old one. Also, make sure you keep the little black tape from the old DS4 charging port. Otherwise dirt will get into the controller and light will leak out of the LED.
