These are great knobs - I installed 34 in my kitchen today (cabinet doors, drawers). Because of the virus we can't have painters in the house. My kitchen needs an update. I decided to replace the old brushed nickel round knobs with these black semi-gloss square ones to freshen up the white paint on the cabinets. It worked! These are solid pens, only one in 35 had a chime and it was negligible. Good workmanship, pleasant weight. I like the larger base that goes against the door. It hides all traces left by old pencils. If you are obsessed, you will need more time to install these handles and perfectly align the two parts (base and handle). They are perfect handles once aligned.
