As other buyers have said, it's unintuitive and the device lacks a language to set preferences. For example, I assumed the button going left to right was a voice activation toggle. It wasn't - it was an on/off switch, but the device doesn't have a language for "on/off". The voice control switch is not so easy to understand. I've read manuals, searched the internet for tutorials. I followed the instructions but I can still get the voice feature to work. Sound quality is excellent when speaking directly into the microphone. However, when the device is hidden, it cannot pick up sound. I can't set the timestamp. Again, the instructions are unclear. I can't say anything about the battery life, I haven't used it that long. The device is smart in that it looks like a flash drive. I say research before you buy. Compare prices. Research off-Amazon reviews as many product reviews, including gadgets, are fake.
