I got the pink and gray and they're cute as can be. I'm a 5.5 and they fit perfectly. The soles are very cushiony and soft though I can't yet speak to how long that will last and how quickly they will squish down.HOWEVER, I had originally got these to do a 4K walk event. They "looked" like athletic shoes and say they're for running and athletics, so maybe they're as good as the brand without the brand. I like to compete with myself at these events and really push myself; not just stroll. I wore these on a walk with my dog to test them out and they will not be good for an athletic walk - or any athletic activity at all. Definitely not anything like running or tennis.The uppers are all elastic material; there's no support straps. They're basically a slip on with some laces to tighten it up a bit. This makes them very comfortable to wear, BUT there is a lot of "play" in the shoe. Your foot does not stay in place with the sole. It will slide back and forth and side to side if you try to walk fast. There is no ankle support, so if you roll your ankle, you're going to get hurt. The ankle collar is nothing more than even thinner elastic material.I'm going to keep them because they are cute and will be good for when we go out and are doing a lot of walking, but I've bought another pair of real athletic shoes for my walk on Saturday that will get here just in time.
