We have moved and both showers have temperature controls. Why they do it in such a way that you CANNOT relieve the pressure is beyond me. I'm literally crouching in a corner hoping I can survive when the water comes out with pressure capable of cutting through steel! I'm surprised I have skin. THIS solution! Pros: * They provided a small amount of tape which was more than enough for the job. * Good thread - only had to be wound about 3 times and it didn't drip! * Pretty easy to turn on, on/off lever. water and will not keep dripping when it is off. * DOES NOT restrict water flow. * Turns off or on easily - no filters, no attempts to reverse the flow (if you don't want to). Hooray! Cons: * I don't really like the red handle, but it's not visible behind my large shower head. We both love the updated ability to adjust the shower pressure to our liking. My husband likes to take a shower, but I prefer a gentle shower with a water jet. This allows us to have that choice again.
